Twitter said it will make content moderation practices more transparent with time as it faces a significant trust deficit the day after India asked social media platforms to establish a grievance redressal mechanism.
The Twitter CEO said his company is making a lot of progress towards transparency and accountability in owning our mistakes and correcting them.
This statement comes within days of the social media company's face-off with the Indian government which wanted Twitter to remove accounts which it said were spreading fake news.
